CRUNCHY BRAN Coffee Cake
1 1 / 4 liters of boiling water
1 cup bran, 100%
1 / 2 cup butter, softened
1 / 2 cup sugar
1 / 2 cup brown sugar
2Eggs
1 packet of vanilla sugar
1 1 / 4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 / 4 teaspoon salt
Covering:
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 / 4 cup bran 100%
1 / 4 cup brown sugar
1 / 2 cup broken walnuts
Combine boiling water and bran in small bowl let stand for 2 to 3 minutes. In a separate bowl until fluffy, cream butter and sugar. Eggs, one at a time beating after each addition, add vanilla. CombineFlour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt, mix in the cream mixture until blended. Add bran mixture, stirring to blend. Pour into a greased 9-inch round cake pan or 8-inch square. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Combine topping ingredients, cake, sprinkle coffee. Grilling for 2 to 3 minutes, or throws up bubbles.
COFFEE crumb cake
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 / 2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg, beaten
1 cupMilk
1 / 3 cup vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix and flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. A well in the center of the mixture and put in egg, milk and oil. Stir only enough to dampen all the flour mixture. Pour into a square that has been greased baking pan.
Topping:
1 / 4 cup flour
1 / 2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter
Flour, sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Cut in butter. Sprinkle topping on batter. Bake for 35 minutesat 375 degrees.
Note: A quick and easy coffee cake is not overly sweet.
